Bender Ball Method – The Blog

Are you using the resistance band, as well as the mini stability ball? I hope so. That resistance band really expands the range of exercises you can do with the Bender Method series of workout DVDs. Granted, you can use the Bender Ball for your abs, buns, thighs, but the resistance band gets to work on toning and sculpting your arms and shoulders. Don’t cheat yourself out of a great overall workout.

{August 26, 2009}   Bender Ball – No Traffic!

Tired of spending so much time on your fitness regime? Exercising just doesn’t have to require such a considerable chunk of your day – driving to the gym through traffic, waiting for machines, working out, driving back through the traffic again. Just a few minutes every day with the bender ball at  home increases my energy, strengthens my core muscles, quickens my reflexes and improves my outlook. I found this independent review a while back on dailyspark.com – they give the bender ball two thumbs up, determining that it does indeed live up to the hype.

For a well-rounded workout, try integrating the resistance band into your bender method workouts. It adds something that really complements the bender ball. The resistance band will boost your arm and buns exercises. And it really gives the shoulders a challenge, too.  So don’t stop with the bender ball – give the resistance band a try too.

{August 3, 2009}   Integrating Bender Method

Hey, have you tried any new fitness products or programs lately? I’m curious if you are all bender ball all the time, or if you integrate the bender method in with other workouts.

What’s your weapon? Mine is Selective Stabilization. Don’t know what it is? It’s when you focus mental & physical energy to where you want the most benefit. Crunchless abs, strong, sculpted arms, tight buns – all while cranking up the intensity with the Bender Ball. Don’t work harder than you have to!

{July 24, 2009}   Too Hot to Crunch

Can we just talk about how HOT it is???? Too hot to do the bender ball, too hot to use the resistance band, too hot to do anything productive for my abs and buns and thighs. Good thing I’ve been a good girl up to now!!

{July 15, 2009}   Substituting Some Workouts

Do you find it difficult to keep up with your bender ball routine during the summer when there are so many other outdoor exercise activties beckoning? I admit that I do.  I tend to feel like as long as I’m working my core in my other activities, as well as working some of the other muscle groups (obviously – different muscle groups for different doings) that  can substitute some of my bender ball method workouts for the real-world stuff and not suffer any fallback from it.

Don’t underestimate the power of the Bender Method program. At first I just thought I’d focus on my mid-section with the mini stability ball. But the bender ball is used for so many more muscle groups than just your abs. And when you add in the resistance band, you get a really well rounded workout. So don’t cheat yourself – make your way through all of the workouts.

Another glorious moment when I realized that regular workouts with the Bender Ball are really making progress happened yesterday. A friend was visiting – she runs several times a week. While I know that I had the advantage on her in terms of acclimitization to altitude, I always think of myself as being in very poor shape. But she was impressed with how fit I was when we went out for a swift walk/jog which I think is just a great measure of overall fitness. Sweet.

At last, when I had almost stopped paying attention, my arms have begun to shape up into arms that I’m proud to show off in summer cap sleeves and tanks. The resistance band exercises that are a part of the Bender Ball workout videos can really go a long way to sculpting your biceps, forearms – your whole arm. Don’t over look them, for sure.
